Is this the first korean song i ever posted?? Byul means Star in korean.
Anyway, i just watched the movie. This song is soo beautiful. And the movie edit version was sang by the actress Kim Ah Joong. Included in the OST is the actual version by Yumi (Youme). Both versions are very nice. Yumi has really deep sensual, touching vocals. Aww this is a very nice song. The lyrics are very sad too..
And the movie was endearingly sad. Go watch it if you haven’t. ^^ It’s about a big woman with wonderful vocals who went for plastic surgery to live the life she wants.

sunny-side up is a new band i guess, i can’t find much info about them other than it’s a 2girl(vocals) 1guy(guitar) band (visit their myspace). Anyway their latest release, egg one, has this nice song, Say My Name. Breathtaking vocals if you would agree with me, quite different from mainstream jpop. Love it.
The mini album also hold 2 other songs, end of the world and fragile. fragile is a somewhat mellow song with nice piano backing. end of the world, another piano ballad concludes the release. Both songs, similar to Say My Name, really sound like there’s only 1 girl singing, though the other girl was mouthing some parts in the PV. I dun think she sang at all in any of the songs, maybe we’ll hear her voice in their next song (if not, she’s probably there only for the cute cover-art =.=). Overall a good release (debut?) and a promising band!

Love Planet Five is a special unit of girls made up from I’ve Sound, a Japanese techno, trance music production group. The five girls include KOTOKO, Shimamiya Eiko, Kawada Mami, MELL, and Utatsuki Kaori. This song is used as a theme to the hit anime, Shakugan no Shana’s movie.

I only know KOTOKO, who sang the themes for Onegai Teacher and Maria-sama ga Miteru OVA. Her songs are rather amazing and Tenjo wo Kakeru Monotachi is definitely a nice addition to her growing discography. The PV is nothing special and it kept on showing the dancers, whoever they are, instead of better shots of the singers themselves. The song – another trance/techno piece written by KOTOKO – is a little generic of her works though, but for anime i guess these kinda songs suit better eh? BTW if you still don’t know, KOTOKO is the one with her hair tied up, and always standing in the middle. She’s also the prettiest/youngest of them i guess.

Yuna Ito – I’m Here

I love this song! OoO Yuna dancing! Alright she’s not exactly a dancer especially with her classy looks, yup we don’t need another KodaKumi. BTW am i seeing things or does that costume make her look fat? 0.o” And i love her doll look. So pretty! Aniway din’t wanna blog it as i was abit late and the stuff are already out there, but i cant find the romanji, so here it is! (with translation)

Not too bad, but not good either. I simply can’t get myself to like it. Sunao na Mama is the song for the CM of NTT DoCoMo and apparantly it means Sincerity – i don’t know how that translates. I’m not a big fan of Mika though (and why is she releasing like on a monthly basis? =.=) Anyway the cover looks smashin’.

Edit: Now I know. Apparantly there’s something like a 2-month consecutive release promotional method.
